NHSI Lost Hills Site

Lost Hills Community Health & Dental Center operation started on December of 1980, with a service area population of approximately 7,775 of which 77.0% are Hispanic as per KCED Corp. and U.S. Census 2000 (Tract 34.18, 45, and parts of 43 & 44: 20% = 4,337).  Approximately 63% are employed in agriculture and related trades or industries.  About 43% speak little or no English, 60% have no education, and 10% are with education levels of less than 9th grade.  Our goal is to serve all residents, however, we draw other users from the surrounding communities.  Dental services established as of May 27, 1993. During the 2005 calendar year, 1,349 people received medical services and 414 received dental services. Farm workers were 878 and 471 were other users.
